Chad was born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Lisa K. McClendon and David “Corky” Anderson. He attended Columbus Public Schools, graduating from Briggs High School. He was formerly employed by the United States Postal Service and various warehouse in the city.
Chad never met a stranger. Everyone he came across would know who he was. He would tell you just how it was and how he felt, without sugar coating it.

He was a loving son, father, brother, grandson, cousin, and devoted friend who will sadly be missed by all that loved him.
He enjoyed writing in every form…poems, short stories, and music. He loved basketball (having played in high school), motorcycles, vintage cars, and collecting baseball cards.  He was generous with his time and efforts.

Chad is preceded in death by grandfathers Roosevelt McClendon and Phillip Anderson, and his great grandmother Annie Sharp.

He leaves to cherish his memory;  his loving mother, his father, his son Kamre’ and daughter Chadsyti, their mother Torrie Felton. Zykarion Arrington, his mother Santana Arrington, his brother Brandon (Stephany) McClendon, sister Brittni McClendon. His brother Thomas Arline and sister Summer Green. Grandmothers Mary McClendon and Marveen Anderson.  Aunts Lora McClendon, Rhonda Reese, Karla Carey, Tina Fields and Cynthia Tucker. Uncles Kevin McClendon, Stan Anderson and Kareem Anderson.  Cousins Loren, Jasmine, Tyler and Dion McClendon, Godmother, Terri Banks and her son, Derick Smith; and a host of other relatives, extended family and cherished friends to include: Trina Broomfield, Eric Harris, Ronald Turner, Andrea Martin and Nikki Maston.
