Charlotte Surles Obituary

Charlotte Hurt-Surles age 55 was born on December 12, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Thelbert and Margaret Hurt Jr.  Charlotte departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, October 27, 2019.  She was a native of Dayton, Ohio and resided in Columbus, Ohio for many years.

Charlotte was a 1982 graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School, Dayton, Ohio where she participated on the Softball and Volleyball teams and was a proud member of the ROTC program. She attended Columbus State Community College receiving a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant Certification which led to her employment with Volunteers of America for over ten years, Mary Haven of Columbus, Ohio and the Women’s Recovery Center Xenia, Ohio.  Charlotte was the most down to earth, loving and forgiving person who would give you her last.  She was a great listener giving the best advice, you could talk to her about anything keeping in mind that she was not going to bite her tongue or sugar coat it. She always kept it real and very powerful with her words. Charlotte loved spending time with her family and friends, going to bingo and pulling pull tabs.
