Christopher Shawn "Critter" Evans Jr. was born Tuesday, July 28, 1992 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio to Shemekia Glenn and the late Christopher Shawn Evans Sr. Critter attended Independence High School and was an avid basketball player and Lakers (2000) fan.

Critter was known as the "jokester" of the family. He spent much of his time laughing and keeping a smile on his family's face, especially his beautiful children. Critter was especially his beautiful children. Critter was very competitive and would often challenge friends to a friendly game of NBA 2K.

Critter departed his earthly realm and transitioned to be with the Lord on June 28, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher S. Evans, Sr., brother, Demarco Sharp; maternal grandfather, Charles Cunningham; maternal great-grandmother, Lorine Cunningham and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Evans.

Critter leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Shemekia Glenn; stepfather, Patrick Glenn; children, Ta'niya and Major Shanks (mother, Tia Shanks), Aniyla, Christiana and Creshawn Evans (mother, Markayla Reese); siblings, Dajaih Harris, Lamar Glenn, Alexandria Queen, Patrick Glenn, Jordan Harper, Karenna Glenn, Courtney Jordan, Taylor Glenn, Autumn Glenn; maternal grandmother, Johnnie Mae Flowers; paternal grandfather, Douglas Starghill; maternal great grandmother, Virginia Starghill; best friend, Aakhire "Porky" Johnson; God father, Shawn Long; God mother, Shamika Evans and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
