Dollie Louise Meek, 72 entered into eternal peace on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 9, 1947, to parents, Sarah Livsey and Mose Livsey. Dollie Love to spend time with her family. She love the cook, laugh, work puzzle books, shop, eat and go to the casino. Dollie enjoyed life. She was a hard worker and provider. She worked at Grant Hospital for over 20 years in Honda of America for over 30 years, where she retired from. Dollie spent her retirement days volunteering at the Martin Janis Senior Citizen Center and traveling to different states. Dollie was a private person yet always had a open ear. She touch many peoples lives with her comforting and nurturing spirit.
Dollie transition into a glorious reunion with her sister, Falanda Livsey. Mother, Sarah Livsey father, Mose Livsey and sister Gwendolyn Page and brother Norman Livsey.
Dollie’s Legacy will continue on with her aunt, Mary Saffell, Knoxville,TN and uncle, Ralph (Diane) Davis, Catersville, Georgia; siblings, Eunice Jones, Knoxville, TN, Roberta Cook, Knoxville, TN, Marlon Livsey Knoxville, TN and Maurice Livsey, Knoxville, TN. former husband, Alvin Meek II; three children, Lynn Meek, Knoxville, TN, Alvin (Kezia) Meek III, Columbus, Ohio and Cicily (Tyrone) Ushry, Columbus, Ohio; Grandchildren; Alvin Meek IIII, Columbus, Ohio, Aron Meek, Columbus, Ohio, Keiara Meek, Columbus, Ohio, Alexis Meek, Columbus, Ohio, Kyron Meek, Columbus, Oh, Keon Meek, Columbus, Oh and one great grandchild, Levi Bell; followed by a host of nieces, nephews and honorary grandchildren.
Dollie was a sister, niece, cousin, mother, grandmother and friend. She showed so much strength, wisdom and dignity. She was a selfless person and you can go to her for anything. Dollie was always just a phone call away.
