Douglas Gilbert Payne, Jr.

Douglas Gilbert Payne, Jr., affectionately called Dougie or Doug by family and friends, was the son of the late Douglas Payne and Margret Payne, born July 26, 1943 In Columbus, Ohio. He departed this life on October 9, 2018.

Douglas is a graduate of East High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. In addition, all of those that knew Doug, knew one of his favorite pastimes was viewing the horses at Scioto Downs, in which he often spent time with his father. Though we all will miss him on this side of life, be assured, he is now with his mother and father.

Douglas is survived by his two brothers, William and Robert Payne. He also leaves behind two beautiful sisters Darryl A. Smith and Delorse Payne. He had two very special friends Marla Glover and Keith Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
