Emmett Hillman Jr.

Emmett Hillman Jr. was born June 29, 1944 to the parents of the late Emmett Hillman Sr. and Anna Mae Davis Hillman, Emmett grew up in Ft Valley, Georgia and attended Peach County Schools. He was a long time employee of Claycraft Bricks and he worked for Christopher Inn and Dove Janitorial Service for many years.  Emmett enjoyed riding his motorcycle around town and  shopping for tools at the hardware stores. He was a handyman and loved fixing things.

Emmett was a man who loved his family and friends deeply. He didn’t smile often, but that never prevented the people that he loved from seeing the smile within his heart. Emmett was a very kind and giving person and his generosity will always be remembered.

Emmett  departed this life on June 17, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his son Emmett Antonio Hillman; his  two brothers Jeessie and Wallace Hillman; three sisters Ocie Lee French, Jeanette Hillman and Edna Barnes.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Reginald (Ula) Hillman of Atlanta, GA, Damon Alexander, Carmelo J Allen, Brooklyn J Allen and Earlene West (Niece) all of Columbus Ohio; two brothers, Rome Hillman of Ft Valley Ga and Larry(Bell) Hillman of Columbus Ohio; sisters, Iola Watson, Liz Lawson, and Jean Baker all of Columbus, Ohio and Annette (KW)Lundy of  Perry, GA; his ex-wife,  Annette Hillman; grandchildren, Porsha Hillman, Angel Hillman, Daysha Alexander, Wesley Alexander, Taneesha Kenney; his best friends, Lewis and Robert.  He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who impacted his life and that he loved very much
