Eula Mae Stringer was born March 27, 1938 in Chambers County Alabama to parents Mozell Zachary and Roosevelt Hardenett, She was raised in Twinsburg, OH. She later moved to Detroit where she met and married her husband Frank Leon Stringer Jr. From this union 8 children were born. Eula attended Marygrove College in Detroit, MI and later on began working for the Detroit Board of Education where she retired after 20 plus years.
After the passing of her 2nd husband Herbert Thompson she relocated to Columbus, OH where she resided until the time of her passing. Eula Loved the Lord and was a faithful member and servant at Peace Missionary Baptist Church for many years until she fell ill. Eula was strict and always spoke her mind, but she loved cooking, fishing, gardening, and being around her family.
Eula departed this life peacefully on January 29, 2019, she was preceeded in death by mother Mozell Zachary, father Roosevelt Hardenett, son Frank Stringer III, sister Cora Dancy, brother David Atley, brother Jimmy Zachary. She leaves to cherish her memory siblings Christine (Gary) Owens of New Jersey, Robert (Sherrell) Zachary, Sylverster (Hennda) Zachary, Sylvester (Judy) Atley, Fred Scott, Glenn Glover, Roosevelt Hardenett Jr. Children Frankie Stringer, Sheela Stringer, Linda Stringer, Lora Stringer, Cedric Stringer, Vickie Stringer, Rodney Stringer. Grandchildren Ruqiayah (Jorrel) Carse, Marquis Alexander, April (Heaven) Martin, Cedric Stringer Jr, Rodney Stringer, Victoria Lathon, Kristen (Delvonta) Davis, Valen Stringer, Kenneth Walker, James Walker, Michayla Walker, Leon Evergin, Marcus Stringer, Amon Stringer and a whole host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
