Frederick Harrison Belcher was born December 14, 1946 and he departed this life on January 9, 2019.
He is predeceased by his parents William Sr. and Hattie M. Patton Belcher and brother Walter Belcher.
He is survived by children Marla Kimberly Morris, Kena Brown and Devin Francis-Belcher. He also leaves to cherish his memory brothers, William Jr. (Arija) from Walnut Creek, California, Harley E. (Lou) from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Harold (Grynda) and Dale Belcher from Fort Worth, Texas and sister-cousin, ,Jane Wesley-Cunningham. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Khai, Patrick and Candace Morris, Morgan Mewborn, James Mugrage, Jr. and Aubrey Belcher and three great grandchildren, Patrick Morris Jr., Angel Morris and Sophia Michael. He will be sorely missed by his niece, Karen Davis-Peters, and nephews Andrew Davis-Ford and Michael Davis-Peters, a host of other nieces and nephews and relatives as well as lifelong friends Danny Hilton and Chris Johnson.
Freddie graduated from East High School in 1964. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1967. He worked as an administrative clerk for CMACAO, a community outreach organization, and a truck driver for Anheuser-Busch. He was a great cook and excellent confidante. He was an avid bowler and billiard player. He was a jokester and very down-to-earth. Many will attest that he was a great friend with a big heart. He loved his family, life, and laughter. We will all miss him as a solid figure in the Belcher Tribe.
