Gloria Earthman

Gloria Jean Earthman was born November 15, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Thomas and Mattie Saunders. Gloria attended Columbus City Schools and graduated from Linden McKinley High School. Later she received an Associate’s Degree and became a Social Worker in the State of Washington. Gloria also was a realtor here in Columbus.

On Monday, December 17, 2018 Gloria entered God’s Eternal Rest while at Mt. Caramel Hospital East. After being a cancer survivor for 4 years she can attest like Paul in 2 Timothy 4, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…”

Gloria was greeted at Heaven’s Gates by her husband William H. Earthman; parents Thomas and Mattie Saunders; and grandson Deonte Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory and carry her legacy, son William Saunders; daughters Sherri and Lea Smith; sisters Delois Williams, Sherbadine (Ernest) Stewart, and Thomasine Johnson; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; life long friend Robert Hatchett; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Gloria will be missed on Earth, but she will live in our hearts forever.
