John Franklin Jr.

John was born in Columbus, Ohio to John D. Franklin, Sr. and Mary V. (Cornuit) Franklin. John graduated from East High School and worked for a Masonry Contractor Service. John loved Westerns and could often be found relaxing and enjoying the show. John loved a good brewed cup of coffee. If he could he would drink coffee from sun up to sun down. 

John was preceded in death by father, mother, his only sister, ex-wife, Barbara Jean; great great grandson, Zion and a host of aunts and uncle’s family and friends.

Survived by his life companion, Barbara Jo; daughters, Mary “Cathy” Franklin, Monic (Chris) Ozborn, Lekisha (Davon) Benson, Carla Franklin; sons, John and Stanley Franklin, Juan (Janice) Guinn, Tyrone (Marcia) Smith), Clarence Franklin and host of other children; 28 grandkids, 32 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
