Troy Eugene Prysock was born on July 3rd, 1964 in Columbus Ohio. He was the first child in a family of four children born to James E Prysock and Jacqueline M. Sullivan.
Troy was a graduate of Beechcroft High School and successfully took courses in electrical systems at the North East career center due to his interest in tinkering with all things electrical. He became the expert in troubleshooting and repair for many family members.
Troy also had a great curiosity about life and loved watching his favorite TV show Jeopardy on a daily basis to challenge his knowledge of work events and his mastery of words.
Troy never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor. In fact, one of his favorite quotes was “Don’t get mad when the rabbit got the gun” in other words, you reap what you sow.
He grew up in the Brittany Hills community where he met many of his lifetime friends. Troy was employed as a chef at Buckeye Terrace Rehabilitation center and enjoyed watching sports, camping, fishing and visiting with many friends.
Troy departed this earth on November 18th2019. His death was sudden and has left a profound void in the life of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Prysock, Sr., his stepfather Thaddeus Hunt, his paternal grandparents James Prysock and Maddie Busch, his maternal grandmother Geraldine Sullivan-Aekins, his uncle Richard Lewis and Christopher Warren.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his loving mother, Jacqueline Prysock-Hunt, his son Troy Hairston-Prysock, his sisters, Tracee, Kimberly (Will) and Tyann Prysock. He also leaves his grandparents Lucius (Alberta) Sullivan Sr, his Aunts: Brenda Sullivan Russel, Annette (Richard) Lewis, Patty Sullivan, Sharon (Llyod) Ayers, Carolyn (Eugene) Smith, Victoria Warren, Patricia (James) Halloway, Dorothy Winston, Elma Bush and special aunts Donna Glanton, Beverly Shouse and Barbara (Eugene) Anteh, Uncles: Lucius (Charlene) Sullivan, Jr, Raymond Prysock, Arthur Prysock, Kenny Prysock, Michael Bush, Jay Lawson, Byron Prysock and James (Patricia) Halloway. Nieces: Ashley (Kevin) Prysock-Huge and Diamond (Keshawn) Dingess, Nephews Aaron II (Siniqua) Thomas, Troy (Nikki) Thomas and Dwayne Dingess (DJ) Jr. Great Nieces: TaleahThomas and Skylyn Thomas Great Nephews: Aaron Thomas III, Aadrian Thomas, AalijahThomas, Kevin Huge Jr, Kayson Huge
Troy also leaves his fiancé, Tammy Butler. Troy was a loving son, father, brother, uncle cousin and friend. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
