Adam Ayinde Yancey

Adam Ayinde Yancey passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2024 at the age of 50.  He was born March 13, 1974 in Dallas TX to the late Joe H. Yancey, Jr and Carolyn Yancey. He is preceded in death by his youngest son Kyle  who unexpectedly passed away in June. Adam graduated from East High School in 1992 and attended The Ohio State University before joining the Army. He served in the Ohio Army National Guard until 2002. Adam worked in Hotel Hospitality with Hilton Hotels, and enjoyed watching football and his favorite teams are the OSU Buckeyes and the San Francisco 49ers. 

Adam is also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Sarah M. Yancey, and his maternal grandmother Gloria J. Acker. Those left to cherish his memory are his oldest son, Kameron A, Yancey, brother Aaron (Bethany) Yancey, sister Angela Yancey Dyer, nephew Jayden Yancey, niece Toni Thomas, and a host of aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service for the family will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 at the Dayton National Cemetery with military honors. The family of Adam Yancey would like to thank everyone for their words of encouragement, prayers and support during this difficult time.
