Amy Lou Baker was born on February 27, 1955, and passed on May 10, 2025. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Grover, both of whom preceded her in death. Amy was an only child. She leaves behind a loving family: her husband, Jeffrey W. Baker; two children, Collier Chambers and Brooklynn Baker; two loving stepchildren, Jeffrey L. Baker and Lia Baker; loving brother-in-law, Henry L. Baker (Robin L. Baker); loving sister-in-law, Angella R. Pope; two special friends, Jane Hailbrunn-Dee Peters; with a host of nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
Amy graduated from Circleville High School. Shortly after, she began working at the Trotters Association for five years. Then, she began her career at DFAS from 1990 to 2018. She spent 29 years there while caring for her family. Once she retired from the Amy in 2018, she stayed home becoming a full-time mom. Amy was one who was loved by many and disliked by none. Amy loved her family and friends. When there was a holiday or celebration to be had, Amy always wanted it to take place at her house. Amy will be missed. When there was news going on in the family, all you had to do was ask Amy, because she knew it all. We, the family, really loved her, and she will be truly missed. Amy finally got her wings!
