Andre De’Shaun Clayborn, affectionately known as “Dre” was born October 14, 1981 to Rhonda Clayborn and Kevin Odoms. He departed this life on October 2, 2020. Andre attended Marion Franklin High School and later received his G.E.D. (It’s never too late). Andre was a church boy. He accepted Jesus Christ as a young boy and was baptized on December 6, 1987 under the leadership of Overseer Barbara J. Ayers
Andre was a lover not a fighter. He loved people and would give you the shirt off his back. He felt he had to be the “care taker.” If there was need, Dre was ready to give a helping hand. Did somebody say they need prayer? Dre would call his mother at the drop of a hat no matter where he was at and ask her to pray for his friends or strangers. He would gather strangers around the phone and say mom they’re ready for you to pray.
Andre showed himself friendly. So much, that he has quiet a few special brothers and sister. His smile and love would light up a room.
Andre was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mae Cunningham; grandfathers, Sam Odoms and Paul Clayborn.
