Mark was born October 14, 1954, to Richard & Annie Ludaway. He attended Marion Franklin High in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from high school, he worked as a sheet metal worker.
He finished his working career at the Columbus College of Art & Design first as a security guard then retired after more than 30 plus years as member of their janitorial staff.
Mark was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Ludaway, Sr. mother Annie, brothers Wade Sr. & Louis Ludaway and Sisters Arnetta
Meade and Vivian White. He leaves behind his life partner Victoria Byrd and her son Timothy and his siblings Richard Jr, Godfrey (Sharon), Raymond, Matthew (Teresa), Eric (Fannie), and
Ronnie (Janice) and sisters, Doris White, Velma, Peggy, and Wanda Ludaway.
Mark loved being a father figure for Porcha, Chartea, and Dion. He was the best uncle to Janelle, Elijah, Mieka, Cherise, Little Wade, Kenny, Jeannie, Derrick , Little Godfrey and his
many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As a child he joined the Cub and Boy Scouts of America, tried his hand as a violinist and earned money delivering newspapers
for the Columbus Dispatch. He enjoyed playing cards, jazz, fishing and the Ohio State football team. He locally fished around Hoover Dam, Alum Creek, Buck Creek, and the Scioto River at
the crack of dawn. He and his brothers also took twice-annual fishing trips to Lake Erie.
Mark will be missed for his dapper appearance, derby hats, warm heart and kindness for anyone he encountered.
