Mark loved being a father figure for Porcha, Chartea, and Dion. He was the best uncle to Janelle, Elijah, Mieka, Cherise, Little Wade, Kenny, Jeannie, Derrick , Little Godfrey and his
many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As a child he joined the Cub and Boy Scouts of America, tried his hand as a violinist and earned money delivering newspapers

the crack of dawn. He and his brothers also took twice-annual fishing trips to Lake Erie.
