Annette Toler

Annette Toler was born on November 12, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, to Maggie Toler and David Sidney, Annette Toler went home to her heavenly Father on December 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Annette dedicated her life to helping others whenever she could. She was a devoted Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and Friend. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate family as she opened her heart and home as a foster parent for several years.  Annette’s greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, always striving to provide them with everything possible. Even in her sickness, she prioritized ordering their Christmas gifts, embodying her selfless nature and unwavering love for her family.

In April of 2024, Annette made a profound commitment by giving her life to Christ.

Annette leaves cherished memories with her loving children, Chic Toler-Cray, Danielle Helms, and Savannah (James) Helms; bonus children, Tania Hudson and Earl Brown; grandchildren, Shaiquan (Rebecca) Toler, Rashaya Cray, Ta’nya Boozer, Rihanna Lindsey, and Shannon “Mister” Toler; great-grandchild, Cereza Toler; she is also remembered by her sisters, Deborah (Thomas) Newton, Joline Toler, Debbie Montgomery, Michelle Williams, Diane Sidney, and Deborah Hagens; brothers, Karl Foggie, Jasper Foggie, Danny Sidney, and Ronald (Joyce) Sidney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Toler; father, David Sidney; son, Shannon Toler; daughter, Nikita Toler; grandsons, Jaeven Lindsey and Jodeci Brown; and brothers, Mark and Gary Toler.

A special thank you to her nephew, Warren “Mann” Toler, who stood by her side every day until the end.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
