Arthur "Artie" Williams

Arthur “Artie” Eugene Williams was born August 26, 1958 in Columbus Ohio to Dorothy Mae and Charles Williams Jr.

Artie excepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized at Apostolic Faith Temple.

Artie was educated by Columbus public school system where he received his high school diploma. Artie was employed by Turner construction company and a member of local union 423. Artie retired after 22 years of service in 2013.

Artie was preceded In death by his parents, daughter Sharon “Pie” Harris and sister Faye Rutland.

Artie leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 36 years Ellen R. Williams; sons, Kenneth ( Turquoise) Harris and Ralph “JR” Coleman; daughters, Artisha (Sanchez) Wiley, She’Ra “Nicole” Williams and Melissa Washington; brother, Steven Williams; sister, Sandra Cook, Yvonne and Rosetta Williams. 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws, Charles and James Harris, Darrell (Jamecca) Smoot and LaShawn (Lisa) Ervin; sister-in-laws, Ara and Shameka Phillips; special sister, Elaine Mack; best friend, Charles Boyd. goddaughters, Yolanda Tucker, Cayara Wall, Deja Bridgman and Queen Phillips and host of nieces, nephew cousins and friends.
