Barbara Jean (Clark) Perry, 79, went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Barbara was born September 13, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to John and Betty Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Clark; sisters, Catherine Clark and Mary Clark; son, Eugene Clark; grandson, Bryant Clark. She retired from The Christopher Inn after many years of service.
She was a member of Mt. Period Baptist Church under the leadership of The late Reverend Carter for 15 years. Barbara served on the Nurses Guild for many years until she moved her membership to St. James Biblical Christian Baptist Church, under the leadership of The Late Reverend Evan Roberts and The Late Bishop Emanuel Evans Roberts I. Barbara was a proud and faithful member for more than 48 years. She served on the Nurses Guild and the Kitchen Committee as President until she was house bound as a result of illness.
Barbara loved to feed people, not just their bodies but also their souls, you could feel the love she put unto her food with every bite you took.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Starlet Clark; grandchildren, Tiara Clark, Philip Clark, Jeremiah Clark, Elijah Clark; sister in love Debbie Summers, Cecille Spruiel and host of other relatives and friends. She was a beloved Granny BaBa to Nyomie Crawford, Nazir Crawford, Karmen Clark, Ezekiel Crawford, Elijah Clark II, Aliyah Summers, Xavier Summers.
