On April 9, 2024, God accepted the soul of Beulah Bonner. She was born on October 6, 1935. She was born to Mr. John Lee Billingslea of West Point, Georgia, and Willie Lee Baker Billingslea of Roanoke, Virginia. She was one of nine children born to this union.
She met and married Wilbon Bonner, Jr., of West Point, Georgia. The couple moved to Columbus, Ohio.
She was employed by Nationwide Insurance and Sodexo. She worked for Sodexo for over 40 years. She won numerous awards and certificates for perfect attendance. She was a joy and pleasure to all who met her on and off the job.
She joined Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and remained a servant of God for a lifetime. She was a mother, sister, wife, and a woman with a big heart and kind spirit.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Wilbon Bonner, Jr.; son, Michael Bonner; and grandsons, Vinnie Straughter and Enrique Straughter.
Her survivors in life include her sons, Jeffery Bonner and James Bonner; daughters, Gwendolyn Murphy (William) and Gail Bonner; grandchildren, Mia Murphy, Erice Bonner (Rakeisha), Williams (BJ) Murphy, Erin Straughter, Jamie Straughter, and Brian Murphy (Arnesia); great-grandchildren, McKenzie Yates, Armani Knox, Sincere Jones, Erice Bonner, Jr., Elyiah Bonner, Inisa Turner, Cyren Gossett, and Uriah Murphy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins.
