Brandon A. Gibson, 36 of Columbus, Ohio passed away suddenly on September 22, 2021.
He is preceded in death by father, Arthur Hackett; niece, Unique Gibson; nephew; Lorenzo Reynolds; grandparents, Mayzetta & Solomon, and Mattie Echols; aunts: Lillian Smith, Patricia Gibson and Shirley Shepard; uncle, Solomon (Mike) Gibson.
He is survived by mother, Rita Gibson; daughter, Ar’leah Gibson; son; Amir Ware; sisters, Jamaica (Thell) Robinson III, Breauina (Devon) Bruce, Artika Gibson and Trina Mathis; brother, Jemeel (Eunekia) Gibson. Aunts; Martha Cox, Sharon, Kathy Gibson, Janice (Michael) Powell. Uncles; Lewis (Felicia), Dana Gibson, and Lewis (Emma) Booker. Nieces: Jakeha Russell, Zakirha Rockwell, and Zoey Gibson; nephews; Saavon Wilson, Jermaine Dukes, Zirek Rockwell, Daking Timothy Bruce, Devon Bruce Jr., Sir’Von Bruce; special cousins, Mario Smith, Willie (Boom) Gibson, Vance (Whop) Carroll, Erika Gibson and Antwan Smith; special friend, India King; a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
Brandon attended Whetstone Senior High where he strived academically to be his best. After high school Brandon had many jobs, one in particular was in North Dakota were he pursued his dreams, but the one that caught him the most was being a dad. Brandon is the third oldest of five siblings he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a sweet spirit and he was a comedian to heart he always made everyone around him smile and laugh. Brandon was one of a kind; he carried a charming personality and was very respectful in his demeanor. He will be missed by his family and friends who enjoyed his creative spirit and thirst for knowledge.
