Brittni Danielle McClendon

Brittni Danielle McClendon was born in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Lisa K. McClendon and Willie Bernard Draughon. She attended Columbus Public Schools, graduating from Independence High School. She also attended The University of Akron majoring in Criminal Justice. She was formerly employed in Administrative Services.

Brittni aspired in modeling and photography, it was her passion to be in front of the lens, she was very photogenic and natural with her photoshoots. One of her favorite places to shoot were Parks with a lot of scenery and greenery, the peaceful winds and birds chirping allowed Britt to be in her Zen, Britt was a queen and she knew it. Brittni’s favorite feature was her infectious smile with her signature gap tooth, she would always joke about her gap and would have those close to her and whoever encountered her full of laughter. Brittni was so bright and full of light; she knew how to make your day when the shoe was on the other foot. Britt Britt loved hard, she enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, music, dancing and being silly. Basketball her passion as well, (having played since she was in AAU, high school, and college intramural). She was generous with her time and efforts.

Brittni was a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece and devoted friend, who will sadly be missed by all that loved her. Brittni is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roosevelt McClendon and Willie Bernard Draughon; grandmother, Josephine Draughon, and her big brother, Deceased Chad McClendon.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Lisa K. McClendon; her father, Willie B. Draughon; her son Harper Blake; daughter, Maxwell O. McClendon; her siblings, Brandon (Stephany) McClendon, Leisan Echols, Taylor Swan, Amaya Draughon and Khalil Draughon; God-Mother, Teri Banks; grandmother, Mary McClendon; aunts, Lora McClendon, Karla White-Carey, Lolita Patilla, Marcia Robinson, Verita Bumper, Tina Fields, and Cynthia Tucker; uncles, Kevin McClendon and Tommie Battle; cousins, Keysha, Loren, Jasmine, Tyler, Dion, Ashlee, Amber, Jade, Alex, Kevin, Quan, Brandon, Vonte, Reggie, Kiara, Toya; a host of other relatives; special friend, Timothy Suggs, extended family and cherished friends.
