Bruce Jones

Bruce Malone Jones, 55, of Columbus, Ohio, departed this life in August 6, 2021. He was born April 4, 1966,in Elyria, Ohio, to the late Evangeline Watson. Bruce graduated from Keystone  High School in 1985 and continued his education at Columbus State Community College. Bruce married his wife, Melanie, on April 25, 1999; and to that marriage, they had three wonderful children: Bruce (Junior), Jacob and Selena.

Bruce was an avid sports lover and could always be found cheering on his children at their games, or rooting for the Cleveland Browns. Watching his children play was the joy of his life!

Bruce was preceded in death by his loving mother, Evangeline Watson, and his sister, Selena, both whom he loved dearly; and leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Melanie, of Columbus, Ohio; their three children, Bruce, Jacob and Selena, all of Columbus, Ohio; and many aunts, cousins, loved ones and friends.

Services to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Affinity Memorial Chapel, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43206. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 12 PM.
