Bryan Eddie Blue was born in Columbus, Ohio at Grant Hospital on July 30, 1961. He was called home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2021.
Bryan accepted Christ at a young age while serving the lord at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. During the summers, Bryan and his siblings would attend Vacation Bible School as well. He attended Columbus Public Schools throughout his childhood and graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1979. With honors, Bryan was awarded a Bausch and Lomb Award for Mathematics. He joined the Army shortly after graduating high school and served our country for years. He worked in areas to include Audio and Video Technology and Optometry. Bryan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He traveled extensively during his military service and relocated to the state of Texas where he lived for over 10 years. He returned to Columbus Ohio where he found joy in auto mechanics. He was a very protective older brother and father and had a loving and caring personality towards all family and friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon (Blue) Lavender and Leo Davis as well as his sisters, RuthAnn and Twilla Davis. To cherish his memory, he leaves his oldest family matriarch, Doris Higdon, Aunt Kathye (Steve) Hawks; his siblings, Rhonda Lavender, Lisa Davis, Carl Lavender, Leo Davis Jr., and Rodney Sawyer; his children, Shante Blue, Meyko Jenkins and D’Andre Blue as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The family would like to graciously thank everyone for their many thoughts, prayers, and condolences during this time. They have not gone unnoticed.
