Carlisa Delaine Dukes was born on April 3, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, to William Carl Dukes and Lillian Walter West Dukes.
Carlisa was the baby girl out of ten siblings and a graduate from Liden McKinely High School, she brought joy to everyone she met. Her sudden passing has left a void in our hearts forever. She was known as the ‘neighborhood mom,’ always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, and her generosity knew no bounds. Lisa took great delight in hosting gatherings and cherished moments spent cooking, cheering on her beloved ’Ohio State Buckeyes’ and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Her presence was a blessing, and her resilience an inspiration. Her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days. She was the “rock” of the family, and her absence will be felt deeply.
