Chance Lydell Clemmons was born November 20, 2018, to Ernest L. Clemmons II and Lorielle Archuleta in Columbus, Ohio. He was a vibrant boy with a quick smile and a loving heart. He cherished spending time with his family and rarely ever left his sister’s side. His favorite things were cars and dinosaurs and he found great joy in sharing his passions with anyone who would listen. Chance had a curious nature with a well-intentioned mischievous streak. He delighted in exploring his surroundings and learning new things. He also loved to dance and sing. If there was music playing, Chance could be found somewhere dancing around.
On August 11, 2022, Chance passed on surrounded by his parents and grandparents. Chance’s legacy will live on in the love his family holds for him and the support he provided others through organ donation. Chance was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Williams; great-grandparents, Cornelius and Juanita Williams, James and Virginia Clemmons, and Carol L. Archuleta; great-great-grandparents, Erminia and Louis Krezpina; and uncle, Dominick George.
He leaves behind to rejoice in his memory: his beloved parents, Lorielle Archuleta and Ernest L. Clemmons II; big sister, Skylar Clemmons; grandparents, Ernest L. Clemmons I, Donna George, and Catalina Archuleta; aunts, Keesha Ayers, D’Kesha George-Bell, Annelise Carter, Krysti Thompson, and Myia Clemmons; great-uncles, James (Robin) Clemmons and Maurice (Kim) Clemmons; great-aunts, Sabrina Clemmons-Tutsone, Gloria (Trent) Blackwell, Maria (Daniel) Suto, Linda Spence, and Regina Williams; Cousin Kelley Spence; cousins, Austin (Tara) Zubko, Michelle Zubko, Kaiyah Morgan, Nicholas Zubko, Kali Thompson, Sidney George, John Bowie III, Maiya Zubko, Lawrence Ayers II, Zoie Bell, Kingston Bell, Konner Jones, Emory
