Charles Alan Brown

Charles Alan Brown departed this life on March 29, 2024. He was surrounded by his family at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.

Charles was born on May 1, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the youngest of four children born to the union of Raymond and Allice Brown.

Charles attended Columbus public schools and graduated from West High School. He then took some college courses at Columbus State. He worked for Lazarus Macy’s for many years in the fur department.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Allice Brown, and brother, Raymond A. Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his sisters, Jeannie (Littleton) (Bo) Jackson and Teresa Frazier; uncle, Louis (Paris) Gilliam; nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
