Charles Clark, Sr. was born April 27, 1945 to Mary Alberta Clark and Horace Rubin.
He departed from this side of heaven on December 7, 2021. Charles was a Veteran who served in the United States Army. He was involved in many different political arenas like the Core program and Model City's program.
He was the second oldest brother to 6 sisters and a younger brother. Charles Clark, Sr. met and fell In love with Janice Melody Garrison Clark and they married October 17,1976 and welcomed their first of 2 children Charles Clark, Jr. in 1978 and Charjan Clark in 1979. Charles had 3 older daughters, Kim, Tina Brown and Donika Payton. Charles Clark, Sr. had a longtime Crew of friends, Lamont and David Ransom, Jimmy Moore, Russell Early, Arthur Blunt, Tony Finney, Harold Helm and Frank Cole, they have walked through the many stages of Charles' life and he considered them his children's uncles and his brothers.
Charles is preceeded in death by his parents, Mary Alberta Clark Rubin and Horace Rubin, Sr.; brother, Jeff Clark; sisters, Debra Childress, Terri Clark; former wife, Janice Garrison Clark; brother-in-law, Frank King and oldest daughter, Kim.
Left to cherish his memory his children, Tina (Mark) Brown, Donika (Christopher) Payton, Charles Clark Jr., Charjan (Shameka) Clark; his grandchildren, Dominique Rouse, and Demarko Steele; his great grandchildren, Ronald Wade Jr.,Alonnah Wade, Demarko Steele Jr. Zyair Steele and D'myia Steele; his siblings, Denise (Wayne) Wallace, Michelle Rubin King, Pam Saunders, Saundra Saunders, Horace (Kamara) Rubin, Jr.; his loving aunts, Mickey and Mary Moore, they were both pivotal in the man he became. Charles Clark was well loved by many people, nieces nephews, God children, cousins and friends and his longtime partner, Sylvia Joab will also cherish his memory.
