Charles Robert Patrick III

Charles Robert Patrick, 46, was born on July 4,1977, to Phillip Patrick and Kathie Cunningham in Lexington, Kentucky. He was educated in Columbus City Schools and completed courses at Columbus State Community College.

Charles, affectionately called “Phat Pat”, enjoyed spending time with family, as well as traveling and going places. He loved making money. He was an Ohio State football fan but he enjoyed other sports as well. He played basketball in high school and was a wrestler while at Eastmoor High School. Charles eventually started his own business called Corner’s Cleaning Service, LLC. He took great pride and joy in owning the business. He was so proud to be the CEO. He provided excellent service to his clients.

He met Mandi in 2009 and they married on January 24, 2012. Together they lived a life that was full of love and adventure. To that union was born 3 beautiful children.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Patrick; grandmothers, Annie Hail and Arelleta McGill; great-grandmother, Zelma Miller; grandfather, Clifford “Sonny”. Patrick; uncles, Clifford Patrick, Calvin “Bug” Cunningham, Michael Cunningham, and Curtis Cunningham; aunt, Vivian Ponder; and best friend, Dante Newsom.

He leaves behind a wealth of family and friends, including his wife, Mandi Patrick, children, JaQual Pleasant, Phantasia India-Marie Patrick, Playon Infamous Pimpin Patrick, Jaylen Patrick, Sunni E. Phatciano Dante Patrick, Ya’Majesti Delaz Saint Patrick, Baby Joni Infinity Marie Patrick, James Tildon Conway IV, and Jaydi Marie Sorrell; his sisters, Sabrina Finch, Shawquista “Quista” Patrick, and Cierra Lowery; brothers, Marvin Williams, Phillip Patrick, John “Touché”Gibson, Shiloh Patrick, Hassan Lowery and Jordan Patrick; stepmother, Brenda Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
