DeMonte’ Michael Lemar Giles was born to Dawn Michelle Giles and Ronald McGill on January 5, 2004.
DeMonte’ was a great uncle, whenever they were in his presence he showered them with Love. He was a hard worker, and a mama’s boy for sure, and what can we say he loved his grandmas Bobbie and Iris. DeMonte’ was close to his brother JaVonte’. Every time his mom wanted him, she could find him at his grandmas with his cousin, which he was a big help watching them till one of us got off work.
DeMonte’ graduated from AUS in 2024. We never had any problems out of DeMonte’. When he graduated that was the most wonderful gift he gave his mom. He never got the chance to become a father, but I know he would have been a great Father, because he love his younger cousins. He was all about family, just like his brother they are truly going to be missed.
DeMonte’ was preceded in death by his father, Ronald McGill; great-grandparents, Lillie Robinson, John Winton, Bettey Timmons, and Raymond Page; brother, Javonte’ Giles; and cousin, Osjanique Giles.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his only niece, Journee Giles; mother, Dawn Giles; grandmothers, Elizabeth Winton and Iris Rayford; grandfathers, Willie Dumas, Peter Kleckley, and Ronald Forest; brothers, Malik McGill, and Mykel McGill; sister, Myecia Glass; uncles, Shawn Giles, Makell Parks, and Shawn McGill; special aunt, Stephanie Giles; aunts, Monique Giles, Fedelma Dumas, Sharon Dumas, and Tina Page; godsister, Jayvionna Smith; and cousins, Demetrius Whiteside, Marquel Parks, Jr., Myshnique Giles, Makayla Whiteside, Ma’Rage Whiteside, Makinzie Parks, Rayshawn Giles, My’Layah Gordon, MaKaya Carson and Mason Hasard.
His life was gone too soon, but he lives on in us and his pride and joy, Journee! He will certainly be missed by all who had the chance to love and get to know him and a host of great aunts, and other family and friends.
