Delores Garrett

DELORES (DIXON) GARRETT was born on July 5, 1964. She returned to the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. She was the first born to Linda (Dixon) Jackson.

Delores was preceded in death by grandson, Melione Tucker; and both grandparents, Harry and Bessie Dixon. She was educated in Columbus City Schools and went back and became administrative assistant at House of Hope, MRDD (Direct Care) worker, and certified with the State of Ohio.

She leaves to cherish her many precious memories: mother, Linda Jackson; sister, Lisa Crenshaw; brothers, Eric Crenshaw and Maurice Jackson; two loving daughters, Carmelita and Latoya Dixon; son, Andre Brown; grandchildren, Lamonte, Justion, Nala, Niah, Tanaji, and Jermel Dixon; niece, Amber Crenshaw; nephews, J.R. and Isaac Crenshaw; great-great-nieces, Ashante’ and Milove Lisa; significant other, Mario Celli; as well as a host of family members, cousins, and dear close friends, Harry Coc, Sue-Donna-Ronda, Sadie Cox, and many more.
