Mrs. Eleanor Kendrick was born on October 9, 1946, to Albert Allen and Roxanna Nobleton in Williamson, West Virgina, and then moved to Columbus, Ohio, at a very young age. As Eleanor got older, she attended Central High School and then Franklin Community College.
Eleanor exchanged wedding vows with James D. Kendrick, and throughout her life, they raised five beloved children. Eleanor loved the Lord and attended church. There were two songs that were near and dear to her heart “We Shall Behold Him”, by Vickie Winans, and “Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand” by the Chicago Mass choir. Her favorite bible verse was Romans 8:28 “and we know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are the called according to his purpose.” Eleanor always believed that God will get you through the most difficult times in life, if you will only believe in him.
