On Saturday, December 31, 2022, Eleanore V. Mosley departed this temporal life and took preference to life eternal. She was born June 6, 1934, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Charles and Elnora Edgerton, later marrying John Mosley, Sr., for his duration.
Eleanore was a Christian by faith, raised and baptized at Simpson Methodist Church in Steubenville by her grandfather the late Bishop Reverend John D. Johnson. She later joined as member to Second Baptist Church and eventually joined fellowship with Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she initiated and served in the outreach ministry. After moving to Columbus, Ohio, she became a member of the Bethel Prayer Center for All Nations under the leadership of her daughter Apostle Laura (Kingsley) Ighedesa.
Besides all the love and care sown into the lives of her family. She held various jobs while in Steubenville including working on the committee of the Parent teachers association (PTA) as president. She worked at the United States Post Office in Steubenville and later retired from the Jefferson County Job and Family Services where she assisted many to become independent. She loved charity work at the local nursing home, CDC, and the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elnora Edgerton; husband, John W. Mosley, Sr.; sister, Lillian (Mac) McCoy; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and those beloved who arrived in Heaven bypassing Earth.
She is survived by Linda Hampton, Brenda Cermak, Yvonne Mosley, V. Elaine Moncrief, and John W. Mosley Jr. all of Columbus Ohio. Laura (Kingsley) Ighedesa of Paducah, Kentucky, and Deborah (Larry)Baker of Painesville, Ohio, as well as seventeen grandchildren, over twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends.
