Prophetess Emmily Renett Boyer, 61, passed away on September 22, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to James and Leona (Bond) Williams on July 11, 1960 in Columbus, OH. She was the sixth of ten children.
Emmily was a firm believer in education, graduating from Mohawk Senior High School before attending Capital and Ohio Dominican University earning her Bachelor's degree in Social
Work. After graduating Emmily worked closely with the Ohio Department of Mental Health serving individuals with special needs. Throughout her life Emmily and her sister worked hand in hand developing an organization that sought to nourish the spiritual and natural needs of their community. This organization later birthed into the nationally known God-N-Me Mentoring
Center.
Her faith, strength, and love for God was an inspiration to many friends, family, and loved ones alike. Emmily accepted the Lord as her personal savior at the young age of seventeen. She was a long-serving member of Victory Deliverance Church of Christ, where she served in multiple leadership roles including: Sunday School Superintendent, Pastoral Aide President, Women’s Ministerial Department, and Intercessory Prayer Warrior. Emmily was a member of numerous national recognized organizations including Fire in Glory International Ministries,
The Prophetic Trumpet Call (Teacher), The Bell international prayer line, and GNO (God Never Overlooks). In addition, Emmily traveled across the country, teaching and preaching the word
of God, but as many may know, she was only willing to travel to places where she could be driven by car (because she refused to fly).
Emmily had a true passion for writing which came to fruition through her numerous plays, poems, and books. Most recently Emmily and her family had the opportunity to see her
acting dreams come true as a cast member of the locally known film, The Crossover that Won the Game.
Now that God has called her home, Emmily leaves behind many family and friends to cherish and continue her legacy. Including her friend and husband of 36 plus years Richard Boyer III. Beloved sons Antwan (Lori) Williams, Rickardo Boyer Sr. and RodDrick Boyer Sr. all of Columbus, OH. Special nephews William Ross and Donnovan Williams. Step-children Antwan Wilson, Richard Wakefield and Rahsheeda Farmer. In addition to five brothers Lloyd (Cherly) Williams, Darvin Williams, Rodney Williams, Kevin (Shelia) Williams and Shawn (Stacey) Williams. Her adored sister and best friend Pauline (Clifford) Callender. One Aunt, Estelle Henderson of Massillon, OH. Sister-in-laws Linda Williams, Cherlynn Williams. Eight grandchildren; Antwan, Arshan, Lauryn, and Lyric Williams, Karlia, RodDrick, Rickardo, and Karter Boyer. In addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including her special friend Mozella Neal.
