Garnett Potter Jr.

Garnett Potter, Jr., age 66, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born in Columbus,Ohio in 1956. Mr. Potter attended California State University and was a well-known painting and building contractor for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

Garnett Potter, Jr., was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley M. and Garnett Potter, Sr., and is survived by their daughter, Theresa E. Potter; sister, Stacey L. Lewis, and special sister, Adrienne Freeman; children, Lance (Tanesha) Owens, Garnett Anthony Potter, Jordan Arthur Potter, and Briunna Robinson; grandchildren, Brayden Rogers, Jayce Roosevelt Potter, and Larissa Owens; and a host of other close family and friends.
