Genene Anna Marie Danielle Croone

Genene Anna-Marie Danielle Croone, 49, transitioned on February 28, 2024. Genene was born March 23, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late George Croone, Sr., and Colzie Connie (Jennings) Croone. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Hardy and Ola Croone, and her maternal grandparents, James and Ada (Cooper) Jennings.

Genene attended Columbus Public Schools where she never missed a day and received a K-12 Perfect Attendance Award from CCS and the Columbus Kobacker Foundation. Genene graduated from Marion Franklin High School.  Genene was active in stage and marching band.  Genene continued to pursue her academics by proudly graduating from Ohio University. She was currently in Graduate school studying Phycology and Business Administration at Claremont Lincoln University. She only needed two more semesters to receive her Masters Degree.
