George, was in his last year of High School where he attended East High in his words “I felt drawn to enlist into the Army.” Specialist Four George E. Graves fought in the Vietnam War and was wounded earning him the Purple Heart. Once George returned home to Columbus, Ohio January 29, 1969 he pressed forward in life to create his own normal. George loved learning and staying mentally sharp. George, continued in educating himself. George, achieved his GED in 2011, after which he attended ITT Technical Institute Spring of 2016 attaining a GPA of 3.8, then on to DeVry University Winter of 2017 and carried on with many other courses and beyond that.
George Graves, was introduced to Marilyn, by her mother Dottie Sue Good, in 1978 the two of them were joined together in Marriage on Saturday, August 23, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1985 they took up residence in San Diego, California where in 1989 both George and Marilyn gave their life to the Lord and never looked back. George had a great love for his life companion Marilyn Renee Good-Graves of 43 years. He was without doubt a true family man who would do anything at anytime for their children and especially his gran and great grandchildren.

GRANDCHILDREN: Esaias M (Kirestain) Glaster, Charles Jr., Noah, Micaiah, Dashawn, Liam, Zoe, JaNiya, Laila. GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Karter, Isaiah, Lelani, and a host of Nieces/Nephews/Family/Friends.
