George McClain

The beloved George Heath McClain, age 47, departed this life to go with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

George was born on June 28, 1977, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Robert Earl Moore and Carol Done Moore.

George was known for being a family man. He was always making sure somebody else was good before taking care of himself. His energy and swag would make anyone smile when they were around him. He loved spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren.

One of George’s greatest accomplishments was coming home from jail a better man than he was before.

As we lay George to rest, he leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Carol; father, Robert; sisters, Latricia and Natalie; brother, Napolean; daughters, Aaliyah and Jonesha; daughters’ mothers, Joyce and Jonie; grandchildren, Jazrelle and Jaleiya; cousin, Kelly; his nieces and nephews, Mariah, Christyana, Anthony, Jorvaughn, Ny ‘Ocean, Kengolow, Namir, Napolean, Jr., and Nayanna; and a host of other family and close friends.
