Germonty A Moody

Germonty "Jerry" Moody (65) of Columbus Ohio gained his wings May 21st, 2023. 

Jerry was born in Detroit Michigan to Barbara Ann Moody, he was the 3rd born of his siblings.  He is survived by his 3 children Ivan, Shanell, and Keona, 8 Grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. His siblings include Sabrina, Sharon, and Charles all of Columbus Ohio, along with his loyal life partner Renee Wilson, a host of family & friends.

Jerry graduated from West High School in 1976, he was known for being a notable athlete. He enjoyed his employment at The Ohio State University for over 15 years as well as his tenure at the Cloak and Dagger as the head chef. 

Jerry wore many titles. He was a STRONG, KIND,LOVING, and SUPPORTIVE father, grandfather, brother, partner, uncle, son, and friend. He adored his family and loved ones with ALL of his heart!  Jerry was a passionate food enthusiast who took great pleasure in sharing his love through the meals he prepared with LOVE! He was a natural comedian, with the ability to turn even a serious matter into a comediac situation that would leave you in tears of laughter. He was truly the LIFE of any party!  He always enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid movie watcher! Germonty was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, and Ohio State fan, but most importantly, Jerry was a man of GOD. He has been a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church since his childhood.

Our Dearest Jerry, Each tear we shed for you holds IMMEASURABLE love. Your footsteps can NEVER be filled, nor your LOVE, ever forgotten.  Though we mourn our loss, we encourage any and all who were fortunate enough to experience this loving soul, to remember the gift he gave to this world with his ability to comfort you through LAUGHTER and LOVE. 

He will forever remain in our hearts....until we meet again "G Moody"
