Our Uncle, Brother, Prayer Warrior, and Friend, Harold S. Roddy was a man of valor. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School. He was a praising and praying man. He loved the Lord with his all. He has been struggling with many health conditions, but nothing could stop his faithful fight of faith. He also loved his family unconditionally. Everyone he came in contact with, he would encourage them with the light he carried. If you learned anything from our uncle, man of God, brother, “be the light you want to see.” Isaiah 41:10.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora Johnson; mother, Jo Ann Clark; father, Richard Paul Roddy, Sr.; and siblings, Coraina Clarke Forne, Daryle Roddy, and Richard Paul Roddy, Sr. He was survived by: siblings, Virginia Roddy and Terrilynn Kelly; nieces and nephews, Debrian Roddy and children, Alonzetta Clark and children, Latasha Roddy-Lee (Travis) and children, Warrenzetta Clark and children, Paul Clark, Bianca Brown (Home Health aid/niece) and children, and Kevin Roddy and children; best friends, Penny Johnson and Timothy Helms; dedicated member of the Lord’s Table Ministries, Bishop John H. Rodney and First Lady Carolyn Rodney; and beloved church family.
