Heaven Craig-Simmons

Heaven Marie Craig-Simmons was born on July 17, 1998, in Columbus, OH, to Kimberley Heavenly Craig Washington and Michael Simmons.

Heaven attended East Haven Elementary, York Towne Middle, and Walnut Ridge High Schools in Columbus, OH. She later attended Job Corps, where she obtained her High School Equivalency and degree as a Radiology Technician in July of 2020. Heaven confessed her life to Christ at an early age and attended Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Columbus, OH, under the leadership of Bishop W. L. Butler, Sr.

Heaven was a loving, caring person who loved everyone. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Heaven loved her. She loved being an aunt to her eleven nieces and nephews. She even shared a birthday with one of her nephews. Heaven’s smile would light up any room.  Heaven was a stylist in her own way. She loved to shop and knew how to “put her pieces together” very well.

Heaven departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kimberly Heavenly Craig Washington.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her father, Michael Simmons; bonus stepmother, Daphne Milloy; grandmothers, Lethia Mae Simmons and Deborah Ann Stephney (Na Na); grandfather, Kevin Milloy (Paw Paw Kevin); siblings, Symiah Campbell, Isiah Campbell, Dheya Campbell, Mikey Simmons, Angel Watkins, Destiny Milloy Simmons, Courtney Gray, Jr., and Myah Elder; aunts and uncles, Angela Simmons, Robert Simmons, Gregory Simmons (Devin Simmons), Ericka Simmons, and Teneke Norris; special friend, Crystal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
