Isawan Michael Foster

Twinkle twinkle little star. You’re a star, YES YOU ARE! On the road to mainstream stardom, Isawan Micheal Foster, born January 6, 1993, has gone to be in the presence of our Lord on June 3, 2026, at his tender age of 33. He was preceded in death by Elizabeth Dulaney (Great Granny), Bobbi J. Harrison (Auntie Kitty), Michelle Foster, Jamigo Foster, Robert Cannady, and other beloved members of our family who have also crossed over.

Left to mourn Isawan are his mom, Marlo; brothers, Khalfani and Mister; sister, Mi’strength; his closest cousins, Ivori, Issac, Sabrina, Dwann, and Jamigo; cherished children, Javi, Dayvion, Ziy’Leigha, Miaunee, Camri, Khalani, Kehlani, and Tonio, and their dear mothers who are helping them through this hard time; second mom, Ms. Carla Gale; bonus sisters, Erica and Charon; his sincerest best friend, OJ; many aunts and uncles, an abundance of cousins, his friends, his fans, true supporters, his entourage, and so on.

Though Isawan was taken from us before reaching mainstream stardom, he was fortunate to accomplish many things most underground artists could only dream of as he was fortunate to have shared moments with industry rap stars who recognized his greatness and supported him as well. A father of eight, Isawan performed exceptionally, as he did the best he could with keeping his kids together and being there when they needed him most. He was kind, loving, full of grace, and happy to be a dad. Isawan had an unconditional love for his offspring and worked hard to do what any father would do when it came to the kids!

Isawan was a cornerstone of the Ohio music scene. He didn’t just rap about the community he entertained and his experiences, he lived it, embodied it, and gave it a voice. Known for his relentless hustle and authentic lyricism, Isawan built a legendary underground following through pure grit and raw talent.

Isawan’s artistry capabilities were unmatched. Known as Wizzle by his followers, his music and spirit will forever echo through the streets of Columbus, Ohio.

His artistry ethic, music, lyrics, and the permanent spark he had will continue to influence us locally and beyond for many years to follow. This has been a sudden loss of a life, cut short, of a phenomenal man, father, and an artist who was on the verge of something massive. Let’s consider Wizzle as a legend of the underground, a loving and compassionate father, a family member everyone adored from day one, and a dear friend to everyone he loved.

Let’s remember his magnetic personality, genuine spirit, love for his children, charming features, and how the ladies loved him. His funny quotes, the local impact he had on many, his creative authenticity, his smile and the way he laughed, the way he turned us up, and so much more
