James Trey Spinner

James “Trey” Edward Spinner was born January 31, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and was a member of VFW Post No. 3764. He retired later from American Electric Power Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. and Hazel M. (Quillian) Spinner; sisters, Alfretta B. Spinner and Catherine A. Washington; and twin brother, Jewel (Jay) Spinner.

He is survived by his sister, Phillis Spinner; niece, Shanika Spinner-Smith; great-nieces, Shaneyl and Sheena Spinner-Smith; cousins, Nila Smith and Paul Thompson; and ex-sister-in-law and close friend, Althea Day.
