Jeremy Allen Heglar, Jr., was born May 12, 2006, 11:21 PM, at Grant Medical Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, to LaTana and Jeremy Heglar, Sr.

Jeremy Jr. passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2023. Jeremy attended Columbus Arts and Technology Academy, Old Orchard, A+ Academy, Columbus Collegiate Academy, Briggs High School, and last, Urban Scholars Academy. Jeremy Jr. loved working and making his own money. He started at a young age baking cookies and making icy drinks at his Uncle Carey’s restaurant, Jesse Mae’s. Then in 2021 he started working at McDonald’s until present. Jeremy Jr., a.k.a. Lil Jeremy, a.k.a. Man Man, a.k.a. J Nasty, a.k.a. J Remy, was the life of the party. There was never a dull moment with him. He was always dancing and being goofy.

He loved going on family vacations, especially with his sister, Tayia. He loved playing video games and listening to music. He had a spirit that would light up any room. Jeremy played little league football and baseball, and also did boxing. He was good at all of them, too.

Jeremy Jr. was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Lillian Fitzgerald; great-great-grandmother, Grace Harrington; uncle, Vernon Miller; paternal grandfather, Luis Markham; great-grandmother, Doris Heglar; and his special friend, Sage Martin-Brooks

Left to cherish his memory are his mother and father, LaTana and Jeremy Heglar, Sr.; sister, Natayia (Al’Jurdon) Duff; bro/cousins, Jaylen Robinson and Nathaniel Alexander; maternal grandparents, Sylvia Harrington and Kevin Harrington; paternal grandparents, Jerri Markham and William Heglar; great-grandpa, Larry Fitzgerald; uncles, Carey Ingram, Anderson (Keisha) Ingram, Billy Martin, Jack Weiler, Maurice Robertson, and Justin Smith; aunts, Celena (Jason) Boles, E’Leas Harrington, and Kirshala Wright; nieces, Jur’Nayia, Jer’Myiah, and JurNee Gooch; nephew, Jurdon Gooch; god- dad, Floyd Simms; godbrother, Deontis William-Spencer; godsister, LayNique Smith; best friend/love, Tylah Robinson; and a host of cousins, great-uncles, aunts, and friends.
