Life Reflection John Wesley Stone III was born on May 21, 1996, and was the beloved son of Mica Anderson and John Wesley Stone, Jr. From an early age, John brought energy, purpose, and joy into the lives of everyone who knew him.
John attended Columbus City schools and was a proud graduate of Beechcroft High School. During his high school years, he excelled in band, dedicating four years to music out of a genuine love for instruments and creative expression. He was also a committed member of the boys’ tennis team. Athletic and active throughout his life, John embraced sports from the age of five into adulthood, playing basketball, football, and passionately dedicating many years to hockey—his favorite sport.
John was known for his assertive yet warm personality, unmistakable charisma, and deep love for his family. He never met a stranger and possessed an exceptional spirit that brought laughter, wisdom, and light wherever he went. Dependable and always willing to lend a helping hand, John was someone others could rely on without hesitation. He was a devoted son, loving brother, cherished uncle, cousin, and a loyal friend. John peacefully transitioned from this life on December 14, 2025.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Mica Anderson and John Wesley Stone, Jr.; grandparents, John Wesley Stone, Sr., and Hester Stone; sisters, Lesley Anderson and Sierra (Jaylen) Hudson; brother, Jay Angelo Stone; aunt, Robin Blake; uncle, Cappy Anderson; nieces and nephews, Kamiyah, Kimani, Xavier, and Devyn; special cousins, Sean Blake and Kyle Blake; and his best friend, Lasondra Washington.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Anderson, Sr., and Mary Anderson, and his uncle, Richard Anderson, Jr. John Wesley Stone III was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by many. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, laughter, and love will forever live on in our hearts.
