Johnetta Habern

JOHNETTA NICOLE HABERN, known as “Netta,” was born on January 14,1986, in Columbus, Ohio, to John Calloway and Linda Habern. She departed this life unexpectedly on
December 22, 2025.

She was a big Cincinnati Bengals fan, the life of the party, very outspoken, adventurous, and extremely comfortable in her own skin. She was always willing to help others in need. She was known as a former Toros member and named “Show Stopper” because when she entered into a room, everything would stop!

Johnetta was preceded in death by her father, John Calloway, Jr.; grandparents, John and Emma Habern, and John Calloway Sr.; brother, John Habern III; and nephew, Dion Culberson.

Her memory will be cherished by her only son, Shawn Latham, Jr.; nephews and niece who she adopted, Maynerd and John IV, and Chyann Habern; mother, Linda Habern (Keith); sister, Shareda Habern; brothers,  eo, Tyrone, Dennis, James, and Deuvaul; six nephews, eight nieces, and one great-niece; along with a host of other family members and friends.
