Joyce Hayes

Joyce Marie Hayes, born April 2, 1951 in Springfield, Ohio, departed her loved ones on May 24, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother Janice Gaines, father, Ferris Hayes, daughter Jana Hayes, sister, Mary “Kathy” Hayes, brothers: Steven Hayes, Kenneth Gaines, and Ferris Hayes Jr.. She is survived by her three children, Patricia Hayes, Shawn Lewis, and Tawanna Hayes, along with her siblings, sister Annette Gaines, brothers Adrian Gaines and Fairlond Hayes. Joyce was a grandmother to seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Joyce spent most of her life loving and raising her family.

Joyce was a devoted Christian, committed to reading her Bible, praying often, and paying her tithes faithfully. She was kind-hearted, generous, funny, an amazing cook, and a great listener. Her friendship, counsel, laughter, and unique personality will truly be missed.
