Julius Earl Cannon III, beloved son of Julius Earl Cannon Jr. and Marie Cannon Watts, was born May 1, 1955, in Buffalo, New York. He departed this life on November 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by both parents and sisters Elaine Hughes (Frank) and Janet Cannon.
In 1968, the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Julius attended and graduated from East High School in 1974 where he played on the varsity basketball team. After high school, he wanted to serve his country by joining the Marine Corps. While serving, he relocated to Columbus, Ohio. He worked for Time Warner Cable as a Technical Supervisor for 20 years. Loving technology and leadership, he worked as a Project Manager for Ashland Chemical and Husky Energy, currently known as Cenovus until his passing.
Julius gave his life to the Lord and attended Faith Ministries Church under the Pastorate of Dr. C. Dexter Wise where he was an usher. In 2020, he married his "Angel," Aundrea, residing in Dublin, Ohio. Our beloved Julius loved his children, grandchildren and stepchildren who affectionately called him "Papa Ju."
He is survived by his wife Aundrea Cannon, two sons, Julius C. Cannon (Dawn) and Mario Cannon (Brittany); three daughters, Erica Cannon (Gerald), Julia Cannon, Juliet Cannon, and four stepchildren, MarKeisha Wilson, Terrile Wilson, Brian Taylor, and Malcom Taylor; 14 grand-children; two brothers, Ronaldo Cannon (Maria), Michael Cannon (Carmen); two sisters, Evelyn A. Flores (Andrew), Elinor M. Watts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
