Kamayia Ivery Obituary

Kamayia Rose Rae Ivery was born in Columbus, Ohio, to D’Juan and Kay Ivery on May 23, 2022. She was returned to the arms of Jesus on August 20, 2022, surrounded by her parents at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Kamayia enjoyed spending time and playing with her family. She loved her Binkies. Her infectious smile warmed our hearts. She gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on Earth.

Kamayia was preceded in death by her older sister, Kamora Lenay Ivery, and grandparents, Micheal Caldwell and Roslynn Ivery.

She is survived by: her parents, Kay and D’Juan Ivery; seven siblings, Amen Dunson, D’Juan Ivery, Jr. (Beesan), Ebony Ivery, Aalaysha Ivery, Roslynn Ivery, Kay’Juan Ivery, and Kamron Ivery; great-grandparents, Leslie and Brent Drewry; grandparents, Grandma Rose (Jay) Law and Nana Nicole McCall; aunts, Kalaysha Miller, Cheyanne McCall, Dean Ivery, Lludalmi Miller, Paris Oats, and Mikayla Diaz; great-aunts, Sonya Ward, Cherie Smith, Tasha Smith, and Malisa “Missy” Bellin; uncles, John McCall, Jerome Ivery, Sonny Ivery, Ray Branch, Marcus Lumpkin, and Mark McKee; nieces, Ava Ivery and Layla Ivery; cousins, Llu’Dymond Miller, Jalaya Miller, Jaylan Miller, and Jacieon Miller; as well as a host of family members.
