A Time To Be Born: Larry James Robinson journey began February 13, 1952 to George and Mildred Louise Robinson in Berry, Alabama.

A Time To Live: Larry attended Columbus Public School and graduated from East High School.  Larry joined the United States Air Force. During his time of serving in the Air Force he met the apple of his eye Vivian Scales. After serving 4 years as a Senior Airman, USAFR Larry married the love of his life Vivian. Soon after he began working at Big Bear Grocery Chain managing many different stores. When Big Bear closed their store Larry went on to work and retired from Jones Trucking Company.

Larry loved the Lord with his whole heart. He was a Godly man after God’s own heart. Larry grew up in Meredith Temple Church of God in Christ. He served under the late Elder Hezekiah
Meredith where he was ordained as Deacon. Larry later moved his membership to New Horizons Christian Fellowship.

Larry was a truly a family man. A God-fearing husband and father. He was always giving Godly advice to his children and Grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family and
going to amusement parks, picking grapes with grandchildren, and making homemade ice cream. He would go daily to his mom’s house with his brother and sit on the porch and talk for
hours.

A Time To Love: Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years the love of his life Vivian Robinson, daughters LaTonya and Yolanda Robinson; son Anthony (Dawn) McKee Sr.; Mother Mildred
Lousie Brewer; brother Jerry Robinson; grandchildren Kyesha Cain, Asia Cain, Martell Cain, Damontae Robinson, Jordyn Sutherland, Jaelynn Sutherland, Laquisha Hinton McKee, Anastasia McKee, Lamia McKee, Anthony McKee Jr. Anthony McKee III; Mother In-law Cortez Juanita Scales; Sisters In-Law Jacqueline Burroughs, Joyce (Eugene) Ellis; Brother In-Law Charles Scales and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Larry was preceded in death by his father George Robinson, daughter Jessica Sutherland, sister in laws Juanita Hamiter and Cynthia Alls.

A Time To Depart: Larry flew softly into the arms of God on Thursday, October 24, 2024 where he met his baby girl Jessica and “He made it home”.
