Lynetta Louise Locke

Lynetta Louise Locke, aged 46 years old, passed away on the early morning of December 10, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lynetta was born on November 9, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, where she spent her entire life.

She spent most of her career as a dental assistant and a short time as a pharmacy technician. She met a lot of great friends along the way. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. But more than anything, Lynetta was a great mother to her three four-legged fur-babies. She loved animals, nature, Halloween, movies (especially horror movies), and The Walking Dead series. She also loved spending time with her family, sharing stories, and cooking on the grill. No matter her personal challenges, Lynetta was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement to family and friends.

Lynetta was preceded in death by her father Leonard Lee Locke; maternal grandparents, Earlene “Granny” and Paul “Grandpa” Bray; maternal uncles, Don, Batellie, “Tellie” (Lisa), and Greg (Peggy) Bray; paternal grandparents; and several paternal aunts and uncles.

She is survived by: her mother, Peela; sisters, Paulett and Jessica; and nieces and nephews. Lynetta had a super close bond with her Aunt Toam Bray (better known as Aunt Smokey) and Cousin Damian. She always had a special place in her heart for her Aunt Ruth and Aunt Gloria, and all of her Kentucky family. Lynetta always showed gratitude and held a special place in her heart for every single person she met. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
